3.1 Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• One person or entity may maintain only one account

3.2 Designer Accounts

• Designers must provide valid credentials and portfolio information
• All Platform Designers operate under our supervision and quality standards
• Independent Designers must maintain paid subscription status
• We reserve the right to verify credentials and reject applications
• False information may result in immediate account termination

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our policies
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Provide false or misleading information
• Abuse other users or our staff

4.1 Consultation Services

• Consultations are advisory in nature and do not constitute formal contracts
• Payment is required before consultation scheduling
• Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for refunds
• We assign Platform Designers based on availability and expertise
• Consultation duration and format are as specified in the selected package

4.2 Budget Calculators

• Estimates are approximate and for educational purposes only
• Actual costs may vary based on materials, location, and contractor rates
• We do not guarantee accuracy of third-party pricing data
• Calculator results should be verified with professional quotes

4.3 E-Commerce (Products)

• Own Products: Sold directly by InteriorVidhya with our standard return policy
• Affiliate Products: Redirects to third-party sellers; their terms apply
• Product availability, pricing, and specifications subject to change
• We are not responsible for third-party product quality or delivery

4.4 Educational Content

• Blog posts, guides, and resources are for informational purposes
• Content should not replace professional design advice
• We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness

5.1 Payment Methods

• We accept payments via Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payment gateways
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
• Payment must be received before service delivery or product shipment

5.2 Pricing

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice
• The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order
• Promotional offers and discounts have specific terms and expiration dates

5.3 Designer Subscriptions

• Platform Designers: Free tier with commission-based earnings
• Independent Designers: Paid subscription (₹999/month or ₹9,999/year)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 7 days before renewal
• Downgrading from Independent to Platform may result in feature loss

5.4 Refunds

• Consultation refunds: Available if cancelled 24 hours in advance
• Product refunds: Subject to our Return & Refund Policy
• Subscription refunds: Pro-rated refunds not available for partial months
• Refund processing may take 7-14 business days

6.1 Platform Content

• All Platform content is owned by InteriorVidhya or licensed to us
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• The InteriorVidhya name, logo, and branding are our trademarks

6.2 User Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload (portfolios, reviews, etc.)
• You grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote your content
• You represent that you have rights to all uploaded content
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws

6.3 Designer Portfolios

• Designers must have rights to all portfolio images
• Portfolios may be featured in our marketing materials
• Designers may request removal of portfolio content at any time

8.1 Platform Availability

• We provide the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause downtime

8.2 Third-Party Services

• We are not responsible for designer services performed outside the Platform
• Affiliate product quality and delivery are the seller's responsibility
• Payment gateway issues are subject to their terms and conditions

8.3 Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InteriorVidhya shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from designer misconduct or negligence
• Issues arising from third-party products or services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of [Your City/State], India.

11.3 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
